☀️ Summer Camp Starts This Monday! ☀️

The countdown is over and camp adventures begin soon!

We can't wait to welcome campers back for a summer filled with friendships, games, swimming, creative activities, outdoor fun, field trips, and unforgettable memories at the Greater Morristown YMCA.

A few reminders for camp families:
• Drop off is between 8:00 AM and 9:00 AM
• Pick up is between 4:00 PM and 5:00 PM
• Please send your camper with a labeled water bottle each day
• Fridays are pizza days
• Camp T-shirts will be distributed during the first week

Ready to take your pickleball game to the next level?

Join our Pickleball Instruction classes at the Greater Morristown YMCA! Whether you're looking to sharpen your strategy, improve your technique, or build confidence on the court, our small-group classes provide personalized instruction in a fun and supportive environment. Open to Members and Non-Members!

🏓 Advanced Beginner at 7am
🏓 Emerging Intermediate at 8am
🏓 Pickleball Ball Machine Drills at 9am

Classes run Mondays from July 13 through August 10 and are led by PPR-certified instructor Johnnia, who brings over 7 years of coaching and competitive experience.

Space is limited to just 4 participants per class, so register early to secure your spot!

The countdown is over! Starting tomorrow, we're transforming our Main Fitness Area with brand new equipment designed to help you take your workouts to the next level.

🏋️ New additions include:
• Pendulum Squat
• Leg Press
• Hack Squat
• Glute Drive
• Seated Calf Raise
• Smith Machine
• 3 New Squat Racks
• Dumbbells up to 125lbs
• New Benches and more!

Breath-holding contests? Yeah, let’s not.

They might seem like harmless fun, but breath-holding games in the water can be seriously dangerous, even for strong swimmers.

Holding your breath too long can lead to shallow water blackout, a silent and sudden emergency that can happen without warning.

At the Y, we teach that water safety isn’t just about swimming, it’s about smart choices. So, skip the contests, and keep the fun safe for everyone.
