With 18 years of service, Southern Salt Charters has provided fishing charters to both locals and visiting anglers from all around. Captain Danny was raised in a commercial fishing family and owe his love for fishing to his father, uncles, and older brother. The Allen family consists of three generations of Ceda

r Key heritage. The passion for fishing Cedar Key waters was embedded in his soul in early childhood years. Captain Danny has owned his own boat since he was a child and has spent as much time as possible fishing the back country and flats of the cedar key area ever since. Captain Danny is a experienced saltwater professional with over 30 years fishing experience in Cedar Key waters. Southern Salt Charters’ personal goal is to embed the same passion for the sport of saltwater fishing into every client’s soul. Southern Salt Charters welcomes the entire family to join in the fun!

Yesterday wasn’t amazing but my clients were 💪💪🙌 big props to them for being troopers and go getters! We boated 4 keeper redfish along with some shorts and lost the feeling in a few fingers and toes but we didn’t die so that’s a solid day 🔥🔥🔥!

Yesterday was a trip designed for my heart! This group come to me sorta last minute and just wanted to get out while in town doing some hunting! After a quick run down I was told “if I can get a good redfish I’d be stoked” apparently the redfish is his Eleanor so we went to work! And not only did I find his redfish but I found a perfect slot fish that he is now taking to get mounted 🙌🙌 god is good!!!! We picked up some others but this one deserves a solo post!
