Quick health story. During my regular annual checkup, doc thought resting BPM of 39 was too low so sent me to his cardio buddy. He didn’t see anything after sono but wanted a stress test done. I told him I work out daily and that’s about right and it’s hard to get my hr above about 140.
The lady said she would try to reach 137 but would like to see 150 (on a treadmill mind you)! She said if I can go 6 mins, that would be great.
Well, I have a new respect for treadmills! I did 13 mins at the fastest, steepest incline and got it up to 157! I was shocked!
So working out this morning on the spin bike and after 50 mins and 600 cals, only got to 144. Should I get a treadmill now:-)?
Bottomline, this post is for sharing not boasting to all the folks I know who I’ve trained and know personally to keep listening to your doctors!
I still have BJF but due to my busy schedule, it’s just me and my daughters’ Yorkie (Milo). He gets after it!
Health is wealth! Stay fit!
