The Mayor's Teen Council is launching their service project for the Youth Advisory Commission Summit. Their service project is a item drive, benefitting Bridges Safehouse and Cedar Hill Shares Food Pantry.

NOW - January 24, 2026
Drop off locations:
Traphene Hickman Library
Cedar Hill Government Center
Alan E. Sims Recreation Center

Cedar Hill Shares Items:
canned foods (soup, tomatoes, canned meats)
cold cereals, condiments, menstrual products, toothpaste, etc.

Bridges Safehouse Items:
diapers sizes 4, 5, 6, 7.
training pants: 3t-4t. 4t-5t
baby wipes, hygiene products, such as toothpaste, bodywash. deodorant, lotion, disposable razors, laundry soap, household cleaners, bleach (small containers),
twin bed sheet sets.

Alysah Gabrielle had a big weekend!! The team that she has been playing with the last 5 years has now transitioned to Team MJ (Team Moriah Jefferson) playing in the Adidas 3SSB circuit. They brought home the championship today. She is also playing with her school teammates in which some of them have been together since they were 6. They were formally introduced today as PCF Elite with VIP treatment from (The Peach Cobbler Factory of Arlington) The McGrew Crew

Alyviah Grace is “12”… Happy Birthday to our baby girl. She’s one of a kind. She’s quiet and observant. She’s wise and does things in her own way and her own time. She’s been that way since she came into the world at 9lbs 11.5 oz, 5 days before Christmas. The McGrew Crew
