NCAA DI Women's Volleyball 2026
With more than 110 programs having released their non-conference schedulesโand several national contenders still to announce theirs (Stanford, Purdue, SMU, UCLA, Miami, Florida, Iowa State, BYU, San Diego and Oregon)โwe have a new Top 3!
๐ฅ Texas retains the No. 1 spot after assembling another brutal schedule. Marquette is currently the lowest-ranked opponent on the Longhorns' slate, with every opponent projected inside the Top 35.
๐ฅ Louisville moves to No. 2. The Cardinals will face an exceptionally demanding schedule, with Missouri and Dayton standing as the lowest-ranked teams they will encounter.
๐ฅ Kentucky rounds out the Top 3. The Wildcats' lowest-ranked opponent is North Carolina, highlighting the overall strength of their schedule.
Wisconsin falls to No. 4, although the gap separating Louisville, Kentucky and Wisconsin remains very small. Texas, Louisville, Kentucky, Wisconsin, Creighton and Texas A&M stand clearly above the rest of the field.
The next tier includes USC, TCU, Pitt, Arizona State and Minnesota (* they have some not defined match ups), all of whom have built schedules significantly stronger than the national average.
Among the biggest surprises:
๐ FGCU at No. 14
๐ UNI at No. 17
๐ UC Davis at No. 18
๐ Cal Poly at No. 19
๐ Villanova at No. 20
Just outside the Top 20:
โข Penn State (21)
โข Nebraska (26)
Matches played as part of Spikes Under the Lights were not included, as they are considered exhibition contests.
