There have been several instances of trash dumping and sign shooting at the Shooting Range recently. Unfortunately, it’s the careless actions of a few people that ruin it for the law abiding shooters. The constant upkeep, clean up and replacement of infrastructure is extremely expensive and it’s the taxpayers who pay for it. It’s also making it impossible for us to complete much needed range improvements that can be enjoyed by everyone (i.e. additional bathrooms, shooting tables, shade structures, etc.). We have installed security cameras but we really need the public’s assistance. If you see illegal activity (like shooting signs or dumping trash), please report it to the Sheriff 867-7500 and my office 586-5124. Rewards are offered for severe cases. Please share this info and stay up to date with our page and website www.ironcountyshootingrange.com
