What do you think your baby is thinking when he looks at you the same way Lukey is looking at me in this picture?

I believe they are trying to tell us how worthy we are.

Worthy of love.
Worthy of belonging.
Worthy of hopes and dreams.
Worthy of forgiveness.
Worthy of time.
Worthy of effort and attention.
Worthy of energy.
Worthy of nourishment.
Worthy of joy, laughter and abundance.

They KNOW this to be true with every ounce of their being, and this look is a gift they’re trying to give us as their mama. ❤️
Everyday in this sweet look, your baby is giving you a fresh start.
Isn’t that magical?

It’s up to you to grab hold of that fresh start and believe that you are worthy just as much as your littles do.

No, we won’t be perfect.
But perfection is never the goal!

Our goal is to show up wholeheartedly and be exactly the mother we want to be without fear of judgement or failure.

You are worthy of THAT.
I want you to believe that just as much as I do and just as much as your babies do.
If you’re struggling with giving yourself permission, click the link in my bio ❤️
I’ll help you deconstruct who you believe you are and become who you actually want to be.
The most vibrant & healthy version of YOU!

Life has never been more SUNNY ☀️
In our (almost) six years of marriage has never been able to pull off a surprise until now! I had absolutely no idea what was going on when I walked outside last night and then this sweet dude was passed to me!
Marcus had this in the works since my birthday on September 2!
Sunny is 7 weeks old and the sweetest little guy, already slept through the night in his kennel last night 👏🏼
To bad I didn’t sleep because I was still in shock and filled with excitement!
Did you see Lukey & Sunny?! 😭
The last picture is a VERY accurate display of Flynnigans feelings right now 😂

We just got our family pictures back and they are radiating my Mama Mantra!
The mantra I liiiiiive by in motherhood.

✨Hard moments, great days. ✨

This little mantra helps me zoom out during hard moments and zoom in on the greatness that fills my days.

There is so much I could say about my deep love and appreciation for motherhood and my sweet husband.
❤️❤️❤️

Do you have a Mama Mantra that you live by in motherhood? I’d love for us to share ideas with each other!

There’s something special about the way a baby looks at his mama. ❤️
they see the BEST in us!
they have no clue about our worries, insecurities or internal battles.
they see beauty, safety, comfort and goodness in us.

I wish all moms saw themselves the way our babies see us. Can you imagine how we would feel if THAT is how we saw ourselves?

The reason why I’m so passionate about coaching mothers is because as a mom, the best thing we can do for ourselves is remember that we control us.
what we think
what we say
what we do
are all within our control.
I hope that lifts you up this morning!

Your kids are on your side & your biggest cheerleaders! They just want you to be happy and there’s only positive things that come from a happy mama.
I’m on your side ❤️ I’m here to help you through the process of your Mind Body Alignment.

Doing it for me
For my kids
For you
For your kids
For our families as a whole.

Navigating the jungle 🐅 over here as we enter new territory with the boys!
I guess calling it a circus 🎪 would also sum things up! 😜

Luke is (trying) to go down to 2 naps and we are stuck in the awkward part of a 6:00 pm or 9:30 pm bedtime 🥴
Lukey is also starting solids the baby led weaning way which is sooo fun! 🍌

Liam.... well, Liam has thrown us the ultimate change up of climbing out of his crib for his nap & bedtime! 🐒
Wowza. I thought the 3-4 month regression was challenging but it didn’t prepare me for a toddler
-taking himself out of bed😳
-terrifying me as he walked into my room 😧
-saying no to going to bed😐
-thinking it’s all pretty dang cool 🤪

This new territory is new skills for my boys! Which also means new skills for ME!!
I mean... I don’t always sign up for these skills buuut I’m grateful to learn them through the discomfort! 😅

Right now I’m learning
- creative ways to keep Luke happy & up longer
- foods for Luke that go with our family meals
- how to get Liam excited about staying in bed
- what my kids respond to the best

I know we always talk about our kids learning new skills but I’d like to bring the attention to all of the skills WE have learned too!

What 2-3 skills have you learned recently thanks to your kids development?? ✨✨

Also, putting Liam’s crib mattress on the floor and turning his crib around to face the wall seems to help keep him in there 😜 I’ll keep ya updated 😜

It breaks my heart to know that kids are struggling with body image at younger and younger ages, but that doesn’t make us helpless!!

Here are my top three tips to help your kids navigate body image and create a GREAT relationship with themselves both mentally & physically!

1) Family conversation! Let’s first make sure that this is not something in our homes! Sit down and have an open conversation about what IS and is NOT okay to say to and about each other & ourselves!
It is so important to LISTEN to & VALIDATE our kids!
They are not overreacting or being dramatic. Listen so you can understand them and help them through this challenging time in their life!

2) Ask your kids “how do you want your body to feel?”
Do you kids want more energy?
Do they struggle with constipation & want to have regular bowel movements?
Do they want to be able to focus on tasks better?
What do THEY want?
2.1 make sure YOU align your home with how your child wants to feel! Making sure they’re drinking more water to help their digestion or making snacks together each week to make sure they have access to filling foods! Just as an example ✨

3. TEACH your kids about foods and how our bodies work!
If their body is gaining weight, let them know that that is what our bodies are SUPPOSED to do when we consume more food than we need or aren’t moving our body enough.
“Isn’t it so great that your body is healthy, strong and working?”
“Your body is so smart to take the extra food you eat and store it for later!”
Once our kids can understand that our body is NOT the problem then we can help them apply the education to help them feel the way they want to feel!

Always, always, always lead by example & never underestimate the influence you have on your sweet kiddos ❤️❤️

My littlest dude is six months old today and this is the most significant thing I have learned since having our Lukey bear.

Being truly grateful for what I have is the best way to honor what others have lost.

When vulnerably shared her entire journey of Milo being in the hospital with cancer until the time he became a sweet angel... and through her grieving process- she taught me to hold my babies closer and cherish their every breath.

When friends have shared their heartache over infertility and miscarriage, they taught me to be so grateful for my boys and my body- because they are begging for what I have.

When I learned about sweet girl Charlotte finding a cancerous tumor behind her left eye last week, I once again found myself grabbing my boys and thanking God for their health.

I have a magnificently healthy 2.5 year old and 6 month old. Liam and Luke.
I have not suffered the loss of a child or struggled with infertility.
How incredibly blessed I am is beyond measure for me and I know the best way to practice my gratitude is to not take what I have for granted.

To hug my babies longer.
To share & nourish their light.
To smile and breathe through the hard moments of motherhood.

I am ever thankful to have healthy children and I will forever be thankful for the strong women that have shared their struggles so that I can always focus my perspective to the GOOD.

To the women struggling...
You have taught me to be vibrantly & wholeheartedly grateful for what I have with my boys.
My two beautiful healthy boys.
I promise to never take them for granted ❤️ and you are in my heart and prayers each day.

Three steps & tips to becoming an intuitive eater ✨and ditching diets forEVA ✨

I have tried soooo many diets since starting my health journey... although I wouldn’t consider the early years a health journey.
It was more like a “never good enough” slump. 🥴
The last six years have been my intentional HEALTH journey and the last three have been magic! ✨

Intuitive eating is the only way I’ve felt 100% confident, happy and in control of my own choices and I fully believe you can have that too!
Intuitive eating leads to intuitive LIVING which is the b.e.s.t ever ever ever!

I’d say my current nutrition is
80% plant based
19-20% meat and eggs
0-1% dairy (Dairy does not make me feel good so I consciously try to avoid it)

I have to know, when was the last time you ate intuitively?

Let’s get you started today!

1. Acknowledge & HONOR when you are hungry and full!
Tip: this may mean having foods prepped out in advance, and cleaning up your pantry to ensure the food aligns with how you want to feel!
2. Increase your self-love!
Tip: You will only take care of what you love! Increasing your self-love with automatically increase your desire to eat foods that align with how you want to feel... not look!
3. Change your language!
Tip: There are no rules of what you “can and can’t” have! Ask yourself “how do I want to feel” and choose foods that align with that! You can also try saying “I can have whatever I want, but what do I actually want? How do I want to feel?”

I believe we are BORN intuitive eaters until someone teaches us otherwise!
“Finish your plate.”
“You need to eat right now!”
“That’s too much food for you!”
“You have to do this diet if you want to lose weight.”

Let’s make a commitment to get back to our intuitive nature! ESPECIALLY through the holidays and into the New Year!

P.s.
Did you know I coach you through nutrition education & intuitive eating in my program?!

Did you know you can love yourself AND have weight loss goals ?! Yep. True story.

In FACT, your self love can catapult you into those weight loss goals much faster than any type of self-hate out there.

Think about it with meeeeh!

You take care of what you love.
Your kiddos?
Consider them taken care of big time!
Why?
Because 👏🏼You👏🏼Love👏🏼Them

Now, consider your own self love.
Does it make sense why you treat yourself the way you do???

Uhhh. Gee. Gah.
(This is where you tell me to stop asking hard questions)
(This is also when I wrap my arms around you and remind you of this...)

self-love is not limited to a certain person with a specific body type... nope nope nope!
You get to love yourself 👏🏼
as you are in this moment
& you can work towards what you want in the process.... because (you guessed it) you love yourself!

Instead of thinking how “dreadful” working towards your weight loss goals will be, I want you to ask yourself...

🏆 “How much self-love is it going to take for me to reach that goal?”
- get more sleep 💤
- eat foods that make you feel clean & energized 🥕
- reduce your stress 🧘🏼‍♀️
- Move your body 🏃🏼‍♀️
- Stay consistent 🔑
Self-care fuels self-love
and self-love fuels self-care!
They work TOGETHER ❤️
Focus on increasing your self-love & pay attention to how your body responds!

6 fun facts about me as a mama & I want to hear a fun fact about YOU!! 🙃

More specifically if you & your partner are on the same page about how many kids you want to have!! My answer is fact number 3!!

1. I’ve always wanted all BOYS & I’m highly convinced that will be my reality!! Marcus has 3 brothers and I have 3 sisters... which is exactly why I want all boys! 😜

2. I never dreamed I could be a stay at home mom! I interviewed for 3 jobs before I had Liam, but once he was born I knew I couldn’t leave! That’s how I started BBM, a whole lot of drive, desperation & determination!

3. I am set on having an even number of kids (Marcus thinks we are only having three 😉) so either 4 or 6 😂🥰 but I know I will not be a solo rider at Disneyland is all I’m sayin 😏

4. I am 100% a schedule, structure & routine kind of mama! I have a little bit of flow inside of me for an occasional nap on the go but even that took time for me to accept! 😂 Basically, don’t mess with our wake windows 😉

5. Cooking is my favorite thing to do with my kids! That might change once our trampoline is installed, but for now I love love love involving them in cooking and teaching them life skills!

6. If I could do one thing with my family it would be living in Australia for a year!

7. Okay, bonus... I REALLY want to homeschool my kids! 👩🏼‍🏫

That’s a little about me as a mama! Now tell me about yooooou ⬇️⬇️
