Iron Springs Trail is some really fun single track on the gravel bike! Challenging enough to keep you entertained but not so much that you really wish you were on your mountain bike. Route finding can be a bit tricky but if you pay attention to tire marks and cairns then you probably most likely won’t get too lost. 😛

Three Peaks trails are in great shape right now! Not too sandy. Not too muddy. Come play!

A little chilly. A lot beautiful. Plenty of fun still. These trails will (hopefully) be hibernating under a thick blanket of snow soon & recover from an awesome season of riding but until then: let’s enjoy a few more laps under blue skies! ☀️ 🚲 🤙🏼

Huge thanks to everyone who has kept these trails in such good shape all season! Y’all are the best! 🙏🏼

The gravel is shaping up nicely in Iron County… So are the temps. 👌🏼

It’s gonna be a minute before the mountain is dry but there are some excellent routes in the valley as well. Come play bikes! 🤟🏼

This race was such a great learning experience for me! - Sadie (16)

Sadie lined up at the 6 hours at Frog Hollow, rode more single track miles than ever before, absolutely crushed it, and placed 4th overall female in the solo category!

Here is what else she said about the experience:

The thing I loved the most about it was the opportunity of racing a longer distance & see how that goes. And realize that I was able to have so much fun while doing it!

The hardest parts of this race: the long climb at the beginning of each lap. I felt tired and it was hard to really push up the hills. But I dug deep and put my focus to something else so I could push up the climb.

I gained so much from this race!

Now I know: If I can do a 6 hour bike race, I can do 1-1:30 hr race and be fine! I can leave it all out there.

I also learned how much my body really does needs fuel. I learned what works & makes me feel good while riding.

This race was so hard but also so amazing.

Do hard things, mix it up, all bikes are rad!! 🤟🏼

What a cool day on bikes! On a whim and with some coaxing from a friend I straddled a gravel bike for the first time ever this weekend at the Good Vibes Santa Clara race.

Not sure how soon I’ll ride a gravel bike again but what a party! Bike handling skills were put to the test today on an absolutely epic course. No course modification for the gravel category! You ride where the mountain bikers go!

The spirit of gravel was flipped on its head today and I loved it! I might have to actually buy my own gravel bike soon…

Text by who crushed it in style this past weekend along with and Josh W & everyone else who lined up to give it their best on some prime Southern Utah single track! 👏🏼

Pictures, cheers & gravel bike for Nate by the always supportive ⭐️

Southern Utah trails at their best. Not wet. Not dusty. A bit hard to hit it just right this very wet winter so be flexible & responsible… And then on that perfect day - send it long & hard! 🥳

Pics: yesterday late afternoon when it was just dry enough to enjoy these beauties 💫

✨ Our favorite gravel ride in Southern Utah! ✨

• Amazing views of Red Cliffs and Pine Valley.
• Wind protected - nice in the winter, hot in the summer.
• Not busy - except Saturdays.
• Well maintained Utah gravel. Smooth, chunky, red, white, flat & steep. A bit of everything!

The gravel part of this awesome route starts out of Silver Reef by Leeds on FS 32 climbing toward Pine Valley.

(Don’t miss turning left onto FS 31 or you will keep climbing to Oak Grove and the road eventually ends… Save that ride for another day…)

Stay on FS 31 for about 15 miles. Then you can decide if you want to head over to Diamond Valley on FS 901 and down Snow Canyon or stay straight which turns into Cottonwood (Springs) Road and spits you out close to the mall in St. George.

It’s easy to turn this ride into a loop either on pavement or on some single track.

No water back there so bring plenty! This route gets sandy and hot in the summer months. It can also get very muddy during monsoon season and snowy in the winter as it climbs to up to 5,500feet. Be prepared as always!

Check our stories for a view of the route in Strava.
