With our regular season finishing last weekend, I wanted to give a recap of our year.

The Cedar Reds finished with a record of 24-13-2. We had one tournament early in the year that was on our old game changer account. Proud of the work that these boys put in week in and week out. We have a good group of boys that push and support each other, and don't give up. If we had a rough weekend, they showed up ready to work the following week.

We can't forget to give a big shout out to the parents for allowing this to happen. It takes a lot of time and effort to have a season with as many games as we did. THANK YOU!

Last weekend we played in the Endless Summer tournament put on by SU Baseball. Friday was not our day, but we finished strong on Saturday to finish 2-2. These boys bounced back on the second day like nothing ever happened.

This was our last tournament of our season as a full team with football starting.

July 21st and 22nd we played in the RMSB Pioneer Tournament in Heber and Orem. The boys battled and didn't quit, getting a couple walk of wins to finish 3-1. It was a proud moment for our team to see these boys compete to the end.

July 7th and 8th we played in the Cedar Classic. We had a tough schedule against some good teams. We wouldn't want it any other way. We ended up finishing 2-2 but had a good weekend with good people.

June 23-24th we played in the Peyton Higgins Memorial Tournament in Milford. This was a weekend that was bigger than wins and losses playing baseball. When we heard about this tournament, we opted out of the Summer Sizzle to support the Higgins family. What a nice venue for a good family.

Time to get caught up.

June 15th we played in the the Utah Summer Games. We started out 2-0 with a hot team that weekend. Unfortunately the tournament got canceled on Friday due to weather. Not a doubt in our mind we would have passed pool play and entered bracket play on Saturday.

We played this last weekend in the Mayday Mash here in Cedar. Our boys went 1-1-2 with two close games and narrowly missing the opportunity to have another 3-1 weekend.

Our boys played last weekend in SU Baseballs Ice Breaker Tournament in Cedar City. The boys played good baseball and finished 3-1. Almost had the game against Snow Canyon. They are a good team and the score was within a few runs, so we will tip our hats to Snow Canyon. That is two in a row where we were knocking of the door to the finals and had a hot team on Saturday.
