Cazenovia Memorial Park

Cazenovia Memorial Park A multi-sport, multi-activity park complex located in the heart of Cazenovia, Wisconsin. Views of the water can be seen from almost anywhere in the park.

The Cazenovia Memorial Park is a multi-sport recreational park complex located in the heart of Cazenovia. The park was originally built by the McNamara-Jasper Post 491 of the American Legion on the site of the former stockyards and surrounding land of the Cazenovia and Southern Railroad. While the Legion still has a presence in the park, the Village of Cazenovia owns and controls the park grounds.

One of the crown jewels of the park is Lee Lake, Richland County's only lake. Access to the lake is provided through a boat landing in the park; on-shore fishing is also accessible on the fishing dock, along the shorelines, and on the dam. Our facility also features a variety of sport and activity areas. The first of which, and arguably as valuable as Lee Lake, is the large baseball diamond. It features full lighting, scoreboard and bleacher seating. Unlike newer-built diamonds this one is full of character, from the old-school all sand infield, to the newly added short porch in left field, the section of large, 10 foot, tall fence in left, and Lee Lake framing the outfield. The Park also features a regulation softball diamond, 4 pairs of horseshoe pits, a full basketball and tennis court, 3 pavilions with 2 having walk-in coolers, 2 running-water bathrooms, and a bandstand with dance floor space. We also have a modern children's playground/activity area located in the lower park. Newly added to the complex is a 300 foot clay pulling track located in the new section of the upper park. A fitting monument to those who have served our country, the Cazenovia Veterans Honor Roll was erected along the park's Main entrance, next to the Legion Hall. The monument features names of veterans from the Cazenovia Area, as well as a Sherman Tank used in battle in World War II. Cazenovia Memorial Park is the center of activity in Caz; it serves as home to a number of sports programs. Including the Weston High School Baseball and Softball programs in the spring, Cazenovia Little League Baseball, and Cazenovia Youth Slowpitch Softball. The park is also home to the Caz Reds Home Talent team. The Reds have historically been a strong team in the League, bringing home with them 2 Home Talent League Championships in 1988 and 1999. This space is also home to numerous gatherings throughout the summer months, including, weddings, family reunions, benefits, various tournaments, and the one and only Cazenovia Celebration. We invite you to come visit our park, watch a Sunday baseball game, come for the fishing, Come enjoy the Cazenovia Memorial Park.
