So important!! Be IN the water with your non swimmers. No floaties, please!!

One of the primary errors parents make today is allowing their children to enter the water without adult supervision. This problem is compounded when children are put in puddle jumpers and allowed to enter and exit the pool unaccompanied, creating a false sense of security and reinforcing poor swimming habits. It is crucial to prioritize safety and not rely solely on floaties for enjoyment. If a child is unable to swim, an adult should always be present in the water with them. 💦

Parents, are you trying to decide between survival swimming lessons and traditional swimming lessons for your under-6-year-old?

Consider this:

Survival swim skills can be obtained within 6 week’s time for most children 7-months-old and older, with ongoing, shorter maintenance lessons every few months after, to make sure kids keep their skills as they grow.

Survival swim skills can save their lives at a time when most aren’t truly able to learn traditional skills well enough to save themselves in a water emergency and when they are also at the greatest risk of drowning.

Survival swim lessons will actually make it easier and faster for your child to learn the traditional swim strokes and will strengthen their in-water-skills as they get older and begin to be ready for these more complex movements in the water. These survival skills lend right into learning traditional swimming skills.

Both are right for your kids, at different stages of their lives. Start with survival swim and then move them into traditional swim when they are truly ready.
