I wanted to post one more time to thank all the parents, Falcon Fans, Mr. Brown, Mr. Nelson, and the North Vermillion School Board for giving me the chance to coach at NVHS. After a long consideration, I have submitted my resignation as Girls Varsity Basketball Coach. I have enjoyed coaching all the girls who played for me over the last 6 years and wish them well in whatever comes next in their lives. I did not leave because of any particular reason other than I felt it was in the best interest of the program for a new coach to step in and maybe try something new that would inspire the team to even higher accomplishments. Big shout out to Mr. Brown who was always there to help me get done all the administrative duties that needed done each year, kept me informed on changes or updates, and supported my program. Thank you all......🏀

Tonight the Lady Falcons season ended with a loss in the Sectional Championship game to Lafayette Central Catholic 80-35. The Lady Falcons never gave up but just couldn't compete with the athletic and shooting ability of the LCC team. They hit (12) 3 point shots from 7 different players. They were a very good team and our girls fought hard for everything we got. We finish our year 18-9, a good year after our 2-5 start. I am so proud of these girls for the way they learned and played to get to the Championship, they are all champions to me and the coaching staff. We will miss our seniors; Ava Martin, Cami Pearman, and Megan Davis and we wish them well. Thanks to our fans who supported us all year, it's still a great day to be a Falcon.

The Lady Falcons defeat Attica in Sectional semi-final 49-26. The Falcons will be playing in the Sectional Championship game Tuesday at 7p against #1 ranked Lafayette Central Catholic. The girls have come a long way to get to this point in the season and have the opportunity to play for another Sectional Championship. This will be a very fast, physical game and we will prepare to play our best game yet. Thanks to all the Falcon fans, we hope everyone will come out to the game on Tuesday. Go Falcons!

Lady Falcons win game 1 of Sectional play against Covington tonight by a score of 47-33. The Falcons played a really good 1st half but struggled in the second half to get anything going. The defense was good enough to hold on for the win but we have to play 4 good quarters if we want to win Sectional. Good job girls playing through the ups and downs, you win another game and now we play Attica on Friday. 🏀🏀🏀

The Lady Falcons drop their last regular season game to North Newton by a score of 51-31. The size of the North Newton team bothered our shooting and rebounding efforts. Our Offense just couldn't get started, we had several open shots but today they just didn't fall. The next game will be at the Attica Sectional on Tuesday at 6pm. Come out and support the Falcons as we try to make a Sectional run.......

The Lady Falcons won a close game against West Vigo last night 34-32 and move to 16-7 on the year. This was another great game to watch and coach, the girls continue to fight off opponents and find a way to win. So proud of where this team started and where they are now. The Falcons will play at North Newton on Saturday at 2pm for their final regular season game.
Go Lady Falcons! 🏀

Lady Falcons win on the road, now 14-7. The Falcons traveled to North Central on Saturday and defeated the Thunderbirds 55-47. It was a physical game and the girls played one of their best games of the season. Cami Pearman led the scoring with 16 points, Ava Martin had 15, Callie Naylor added 14, Olivia Pearman had 8, and Lauren Ellis had 2. What a great game to watch and coach, back and forth lead changes, and free throws to seal the win. Good job girls, you just keep getting better...........

Another win for the Lady Falcons, 50-40. On Thursday night, the Falcons hosted the Covington Trojans to NV for our last conference game. The girls played great defense and worked hard on offense to get good shots. They finished with a 5-2 record in conference and moved to 13-7 overall. We continue to get steadily better at playing our game, our defense is getting stronger and our offense is picking up. We are finding ways to score out of several different offenses and the girls are getting more confident as we head into our last full week of the season. Thanks to all our fans for your support and again a big shout out to our student section..........Go Falcons!

The Lady Falcons improve to 12-7 overall and 4-2 in WRC play by defeating South Vermillion tonight 49-21. The Falcons were led by Cami Pearman with 18 points, Ava Martin added 16, Braxtyn Dunham had 8, Lauren Ellis 4, Callie Naylor had 2, and Braylee Brown had 1. I thought the girls played really good defense tonight and caused SV a lot of problems in their offense. Our offense was not working well the first half as we only scored 18 points. After some adjustments at half time, we played much better in the second half scoring 31 points. Our next game is Thursday at NV against Covington.
