In the fall of 2009 on opening day of archery season my plan was to sit in a homemade ground blind at the edge of a field on the property that I hunt. Just about an hour before I left the house that afternoon it dawned on me that the tripod my mom had given me for my digital photo camera the past Christmas might also accommodate my Sony Handycam, and if so I could try and video my hunt. Long story short not only did it work with my video camera but I also successfully filmed myself harvesting a coyote at 15 yards on the ground. Since that early fall evening in 2009 my hunting world has changed forever. I have been completely devoted to gathering the very best HD footage that I possibly can and I have titled my (hopefully never ending) project- STAR CITY WHITETAILS………….. Another beautiful whitetail here in the state of Va. A 45min stalk down an edge and a 10 yard stare down had this buck on red alert. He made one mistake and stopped at 30 as he was leaving. Thank the lord for blessing me with another one!

Folks, what are your thoughts on a trial introduction of the Hunters for the Hungry (HFTH) participating processors becoming checking stations during hunting season on a voluntary basis?
