The mountains called, and a beautiful community answered. 🏔️✨
My mother, Vicki, and I are filled with deep reverence as we reflect on the Summer Serenity Yoga Retreat at the Dharmakaya Center for Wellbeing. Nestled deep within the sacred, quiet embrace of the Catskills, we stepped into a sanctuary of collective healing.
Together, we wove a sacred tapestry of movement, breath, meditation, and ancient yogic philosophy. We honored the temple of the body, listened to the whisper of our breath, and walked in silent meditation upon the earth. We sat in the presence of a Buddhist monk, touching the stillness within, and nourished our temples with vibrant, intentional vegetarian food.
Through the art of Kintsugi, we celebrated our fractures, learning that our golden scars make us whole. In diving deep to discuss our bedrock—our foundational truths—hearts cracked open, walls dissolved, and unbreakable bonds were forged.
Reconnecting with so many familiar faces from our previous retreat allowed us to root even deeper into our shared history, while effortlessly weaving new energy into our sacred circle. We arrived as a dedicated sangha and left as an even tighter, unbreakable, lifelong spiritual community. 🤍
To the beautiful souls who walked this path with us again, and to those who joined our circle for the first time: thank you for lending your light to this sacred space.
May the peace we cultivated ripple outward into the world. ✨
As the wheel turns and the leaves transform, we look forward to returning to this sacred sanctuary October 29-November 1 for our Autumnal Awakening Yoga Retreat—click the link in our bio to reserve your space in the circle. 🍁🍂
