On game day you cannot be a different athlete.
“Game Day” is a metaphor for a workout, a violent confrontation, an important presentation and so on.
When 321 GO happens, it's all mental.
Now don't misunderstand that - of course there's the physical side, but there is no meaningful movement without the supporting mindset. Movement is mental, both at the Neuro & physiological level and the motivational level. They’re connected.
That's why some people hesitate, freeze or perform below their potential. Negative expectations.
When the event starts, there is no more time to study, learn, prepare. Your self-talk is paramount.
An area that is still so misunderstood is "fear". Not the physiology of fear but rather the psychology of fear and how it afflicts performance.
Understanding Fear is the key to unlocking your potential.
Learn to identify it [negative fear] quickly, convert it to energy and redirect it. Learn to manage fear it and it'll change your life.
