Looking for riding lessons can be exciting… but it can also feel a little overwhelming when you don’t know what questions to ask. 🐴

Finding the right barn and trainer isn’t about finding the “best” one — it’s about finding the right one for YOU.

Every barn is different. Every trainer teaches differently. And every rider has different goals, needs, and expectations.

Horse Safety & Behavior Workshop this Saturday!

This workshop will help you become a safer, more confident, and more knowledgeable horse person.

You’ll learn how to:

🐎 Understand horse behavior and recognize what your horse is communicating.

🛑 Approach and handle horses safely while teaching them to respect your space and respond to clear, consistent boundaries.

👀 Read body language and notice warning signs before they become bigger problems.

🤝 Build trust through better communication, respectful handling, and confident leadership.

❓ Ask questions and work through real-life situations you may encounter at the barn.

Whether you’re new to horses or have years of experience, this workshop will give you practical skills you can use every time you’re around horses.

Looking for something FUN for your horse-loving kiddo? 💕 Come join us for a full day of horses, learning, riding, and barn fun!

🌟 Saturday, September 5th
⏰ 9am- 1pm

👧🧒 All ages welcome

Kids will get to:
🐴 Spend the day with the horses
🤠 Learn about grooming & horse care
🪮 Groom and prepare horses
🏇 Enjoy riding time
🐎 Learn important horsemanship skills
🎉 Play games & enjoy plenty of barn fun!

No experience necessary — beginners are welcome!

💰 $75 per child or $125 for siblings

‼️Come join us this Saturday 8/29, for our first of many horsemanship workshops‼️

HORSE SAFETY & BEHAVIOR

What we will be discussing:

🐴 Reading horse body language
👀 Recognizing stress, fear, discomfort, curiosity & relaxation
🧠 Understanding why horses react the way they do
⚠️ Identifying potentially unsafe situations BEFORE they become dangerous
🤝 Building trust and confidence from the ground
🪶 Understanding pressure, release & communication
🚪 Safe handling in stalls, pastures, gates & around other horses
🐎 How our own body language and actions affect the horse
🛑 Common mistakes that can create dangerous habits
❤️ Learning to see things from the horse’s perspective

You will have classroom instruction, hands on experience (horses provided) and take home materials!

I truly hope to see everyone Saturday. Horsemanship is truly slacking in our sport.

As trainers we are failing to teach a full rounded education and as students we fail to make it a priority to go. Let’s be better for our sport and our horses!

If you want it bad enough you will find a way! I’m really proud of working student, Reagan! She works after school and rides before school. Not many kids can say they do this. She’s been great, and we’re happy to have her!
