OTTB MARE with CHROME

Jade is a sweet and beautiful thoroughbred mare. She had a light start on the track, and then started under saddle with basic and classical dressage. She has been ridden slowly, thoughtfully and methodically, always proving to be straight forward, honest, and willing.

Jade has three beautiful eye catching gaits, and carries herself nicely. She is uphill, and walks and trots like she is a super model. Her canter is smooth and easy to ride.

Jade has been to local schooling and recognized horse shows, events, and dressage shows. She has competed successfully at the beginner novice level, some schooling novice, and has been over a few training level fences. She is big, beautiful, and athletic. She always jumps the jump.

In the barn she is an easy horse to feed, groom, tie, bath, and stands well for the vet and farrier. She loads well on the trailer alone or with a buddy. She respects electric fence. She is not a wood chewer or a cribber, and gets along well with others.

Jade has been brought along by a young rider in a program, who will be leaving for college which is the reason for her sale. Jade is eager to climb the ranks as a show horse, or be a personal horse for someone to event, dressage, or trail ride.

She is AA friendly and strong youth with a trainer friendly as well.
No spook buck bolt or rear. Up to date on farrier, vaccinations, dental and deworming.
She is currently getting back into a program after having the winter off.

2026 4-H Horsemanship Clinic

Kids & horses took on a weekend at the Vermont State Fair, and had a blast! New experiences, with a new environment and complete independence while making new friends, and learning all kinds of new things!

Our small Vermont barn went to nationals this April for IEA with 4 riders! These ladies have worked tirelessly over the last few months (really years) but through the cold winter!

These girls have grit and determination, and represent our Vermont/New York/ and New Hampshire states really well. I am so proud of them!

Male intact mule, palomino like color (crème)
Small (maybe 9/10 hands tall) about 7 years old.
He is intact, however sterile as he is mule)

Loki is a cute, small, and feisty little guy. He came to us as a feral boy, and has made huge progress. He now wears a halter, good to catch, stands for vet & farrier.

Loki ties well, an cross ties well. He’s like consistency and is more willing the more time you give him. He respects electric fence, is a great deterrent for coyotes, and enjoys being a pet.

Loki has no interest in being ridden, and does not want to drive. He is good in the round pen, ground drives a little bit and happy to wear a bridle and saddle, and can jump (mule/donkey jumping might be his thing). Maybe he would make a great packing mule?

Loyal to his residence, and gets along well with others. Loads well in trailer.

He is noisy, and playful!
He is not for a first time donkey owner as he requires consistency, and experience.
