We also ended the day on a high note as Coach Tatarek and wrestler Connor Gregory led everyone in a camp favorite, “Sweet Caroline!” It was the perfect way to celebrate amazing hard work, new friendships, and plenty of memories.

Our little wrestlers worked through a variety of drills, games, and activities designed to build coordination, balance, agility, and confidence. From wrestling fundamentals to team challenges and mat games, the campers brought great energy and enthusiasm all day long!

We’re excited to welcome 2025 NCAA Champion, 2026 NCAA Runner-Up, 3x NCAA All-American, 2023 Pan-Am Champion, and 3x Nebraska Class A State Champion Antrell Taylor to our Legacy Competition & Technique Camp!

For the next two days, our campers will have the incredible opportunity to learn from one of the nation’s best as Antrell shares the techniques and drills that have helped him reach the highest levels of collegiate wrestling.

Our VTSU Castleton wrestlers will also be on the mats throughout camp, assisting with instruction, demonstrating techniques, and helping campers improve their skills every step of the way. It’s a great opportunity for young wrestlers!

We are excited to welcome Tyler Knox to the Legacy Competition & Technique Camp at VTSU-Castleton!

Tyler brings an incredible wrestling résumé and a wealth of knowledge to the mat. His accomplishments include:

🥉 6th Place NCAA Finisher (2026)
🥉 8th Place NCAA Finisher (2025)
🥇 3x New England High School Champion
🥈 4x New England High School Finalist
🏅 2x NHSCA National Champion

In addition to learning directly from Tyler, campers will also have the opportunity to work alongside our VTSU-Castleton wrestlers, who will be assisting throughout the camp and helping demonstrate and teach the techniques Tyler shares. This is a great opportunity for wrestlers of all ages and skill levels to learn from elite athletes in a hands-on environment!
