Dear Pittsburgh Point Family,
We regret to inform you that Pittsburgh Point Volleyball Club has made the extremely difficult decision to cancel our 2021-2022 season due to the inability to find consistent court time, and availability of coaches that would provide the top tier training that Point has built a reputation off of. Our hope is that each and every one of you find a club that challenges you to continue to grow on and off the court this upcoming season.
I want to ensure both parent and player that a lot of thought and consideration went into making this decision. We want to ensure the best environment for our coaches, players, and their families.
• We made every attempt to secure a facility. Keeping in mind that we wanted to stay consistent with our practice schedule, and afford every team the opportunity to have ample practice times for continued growth as both individual players and a team. Unfortunately, we were unable to guarantee adequate time with any sort of consistency.
• At Pittsburgh Point take tremendous pride in providing the best instruction with the area’s most prolific coaches. We have felt that our clubs coaching staff has always been what has separated us from other clubs. With the lack of court availability and inconsistent practice times, we could not provide the Pittsburgh Point high quality experience that our players and families have come to love.
• Lastly, we want to thank all of you for making Pittsburgh Point VBC what it was over the past years. It has been a wild ride and one that our family was so happy to experience with all of you.
We will keep everyone informed on our website and page for future updates, and we thank you for your continued support. As always, GO POINT!!!
Sincerely,
Tom Kurtz
Owner of Pittsburgh Point VBC
