AerialWorks Community We provide aerial training to ages 8-adult. We produce annual shows in Castle Rock, Colorado.

AerialWorks Castle Rock is a place for people of all ages to come enjoy the fun of flying through the air. We work on silks, hoop, trapeze, sling and rope to get a good workout and create performances. We hope you will join us for a class for fun, to get in shape, or perhaps just come watch a performance.

Today is Raksha Bandhan, celebrated in India, and other Southeast Asian countries. We have the honor of sharing an aerial piece inspired by this holiday at our upcoming show in November, so some of our performers have been learning all about this holiday! A guest has been sharing with us all about his experiences celebrating this holiday, both back in India, and now here in America.

On this day, sisters of all ages tie a talisman or amulet, called the rakhi, around the wrists of their brothers. The sisters symbolically give their love to their brothers, also baking for them, etc, and receive a gift in return. Malik jokes that this day makes him poor because he gives money to his sisters -- and he has many of them!

Judy is turning 70 this year!! She still does trapeze with ease and grace. It might not be the high-flying tricks of the last decade, but she moves so beautifully, reminding the rest of us to embrace the simple movements and do them well. ❤️
