Colorado Shobukan Martial Arts Shobukan Colorado Martial Arts is a not for profit club teaching Goju Ryu Karate for self defense and Matayoshi Kobudo (weapons).

We are a satellite club of a national organization with ties to martial arts organizations in Okinawa and Japan. Karate classes are taught by Sensei Sam walker, who has been in karate since 1982. Classes are focused on self defense. Sensei Walker has trained in karate, been certified in accupressure and massage by the Pacific College of Oriental Medicine, including classes in sports therapy massag

e / accupressure. He has achieved his ranking from the head of the Goju Ryu Shobukan Karate organization in Okinawa and has been certified to teach the entire system by the governing board.

Yes I've used this on people that wrestled in college and high school, and against a couple of friends that were sandan or better in judo and ju jitsu. It worked.
