The Sumner County RC Flyers will be having an Open House on Saturday, August 12th from 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM. This is in observance of National Model Aviation Day.

Come out to the field and see model airplanes, helicopters, and drones in flight. Also lunch on the grill around lunch time. We are located in the Bledsoe Fort Historic Park in Castalian Springs.

National Model Aviation Day was created to encourage clubs to celebrate the model aviation hobby and share it with the public. The Sumner County RC Flyers, located in the Bledsoe Fort Historic Park, will be observing Model Aviation Day this Saturday, August 17th from 10:00 am until 2:00 pm.

The public is invited to come join us to see model airplane and quadcopter (drone) demonstrations as well as trying your hand at flying a RC model airplane. Come anytime between 10:00 am and 2:00 pm. No charge.

Directions: We are located in the Bledsoe Fort Historic Park, not the State Park. 2895 Hartsville Pike Castalian Springs, TN. Look for our sign (and airplanes in the sky).
