No one has worked harder for this team over the last three years than our own Tyra Sturgell. Her output isn't measured in goals scored, but in effort, leadership, workrate, refusal to get beat, and overall tone-setting. We can't do what we do without her, and man are her shoes going to be big ones to fill. Congratulations to captain Tyra Sturgell on another All-Big 8 first team season!

Our first all-conference award goes to Junior wing/wingback Lydia Cupps. Lydia contributed 10 goals to our statistical output this season! Her intensity, hustle down the flank, defensive support, and overall leadership makes us glow with pride. As her coach, I've been amazed by her growth as a person and player these last three years.
