What a day at Average Joe’s Cloud Peak CrossFit💪🏽
A huge congratulations to our athletes for stepping back onto the competition floor today. What makes this even more special is that all three of these athletes competed together for the very first time back in April and here they are again, testing themselves, learning, and growing.
🥉 Zac Lowndes earned 3rd Place overall and took 1st in the D-Ball Challenge. There’s something to be said about his smooth pacing, confidence, and consistent lifting! This helped him secure his spot on the podium. Zac placed 5th overall in the men’s masters in April and he had his sites on a higher finish. Well done Zac!
🔥 Steve Hector, who took 1st in the Men’s Masters division in April, challenged himself even further this time by moving into the Intermediate division. In only his second competition ever, he battled his way to a 6th place finish overall. That’s a huge accomplishment and proof that growth happens when we’re willing to step outside our comfort zones.
🥉 Bryony Bonds brought home 3rd Place after an exciting day of competition. In a workout that had everyone’s heart pounding, she hit a personal record with a 135 lb power clean. After a missed second lift we weren’t sure where that put her but her strong bike calorie output helped her maintain her podium position.
What we’re most proud of isn’t just the placements. It’s the willingness to show up, tackle challenges head-on, discover strengths, and identify areas for future growth. Competition has a way of revealing what we’re capable of and where we can continue to improve.
A special thank you goes out to our coaches working behind the scenes. Your guidance, encouragement, and belief in these athletes helps make days like this possible.
And to our athletes: thank you for your consistency, your trust in the process, and your commitment to learning and growing. We’re proud of you and excited to see what comes next.
