R***r is making the transition into becoming an off lead tracking dog! His ability to problem solve has greatly improved without the leash and there is a noticeable difference in his enthusiasm! I will be looking to get him and my other young dog on any crop damage permits! Please reach out if you or anyone you know would be willing to work with me to get these young dogs on the real thing!

Today was a big test for R***r! I laid a line that was 480 yards with 2 90° turns and about 6ml of blood at the start and turns. The track was aged for 15 hours before we ran it. He started great and nailed the first turn! I believe the change in wind direction over night caused a pool at the second turn. My favorite part of the track was watching him work through this problem. He did consistent right loops until he was able to correctly identify the exit. I really enjoy his style of tracking and his excitement for tracking deer!

I would like to introduce our newest member of the team R***r the Bloodhound. He is around 2 years old with limited tracking experience. We have been working a lot on basic obedience and last night was his first track I laid for him. I laid a 350 yard track with 2 90° turns aged only 4 hours with a heavy 15mph east wind. He locked on from the start and breezed through the first turn. He over ran the second 90° turn and started to back track. He then circled until he found the exit and walked straight to the prize!! I'm very pleased with his first track and look forward to documenting his progress!!
