May marks National Preservation Month — a time to celebrate the places that define our landscape. Today we’re spotlighting the historic Fred Lupton House, now the centerpiece of Cedar Creek Club — a remarkable example of preservation through adaptive reuse.

Originally built in the 1930s as part of the Lupton family’s “Sleepy Valley” estate, the home reflects a legacy of mountain retreat living and thoughtful design. Today, its continued use honors that legacy, proving that preservation allows historic places to remain both relevant and alive.

Because preservation isn’t just about saving buildings... it’s about carrying history forward.
