Happy almost spring everybody. I finally have somewhat of an update on my boat! The new motor is being installed and should be ready for a water test by the first part of april. I'm not sure if it'll be ready by opening day as of yet but I'll keep you posted. hopefully very soon 🙏

Good morning everyone from Snug Harbor. Well, this year has been a total disaster right from the start of April. I am currently in the middle of replacing my brand new "blown" engine for a second brand new engine. The first new engine never ran properly from day one, come to find out it was hydolocked and unrepairable. Now I'm waiting on the brand new 2020 fully built 350 with all the bells and whistles. Unfortunately, it will not be ready this fishing season. It'll be ready spring 2021 along with a few key upgrades. until next year... stay safe and healthy.

Good morning,

Exciting news for Snug Harbor Guide Service!! Capt Scott has officially retired from guiding and I have sold the business to my long time saltwater first mate Jeff Comeau. He currently owns and runs Landlocked Guide Service on Sebago Lake. Jeff is an outstanding Maine Guide and fisherman. He has logged hundreds of hours aboard the Infinity with me fishing both fresh and saltwater. Many of my secret spots on Sebago Lake were found with Jeff while fishing together. Although he is much younger than me (40) he has taught me a great deal about fishing over the years. Jeff and I have been close friends for almost 20 years now.
To all my past customers/friends who have fished with me aboard the Infinity, I am truly thankful for your support and friendship over the years. Many of you have been with me from day one and I appreciate the loyalty. Please give Jeff a chance to prove things will be the same as far as fishing goes, the only thing that will be missing is my stellar personality and stories!! LOL! Jeff will tell you his own stories about fishing and probably catch you more fish!! Jeff runs a 24' Albemarle, beautiful boat very similar to mine.
I am sad to stop guiding, but I am very happy that Jeff has stepped up to continue the tradition of being one of the top Guide Services in Southern Maine.
I will be relocating to Florida full time in 2020 and will enjoy some down time fishing on the Infinity in the Gulf of Mexico and Manatee river. Thanks again everyone it was my pleasure to fish with all of you!!

Tight Lines,
Captain Scott Bartlett

Yesterday I wrapped up the 2019 season for Snug Harbor Guide Service. We had another amazing year with some truly awesome people.
The fishing on Sebago this year was really good for lake trout but kinda slow for salmon. I'm hoping for a good 2020 for salmon. We also did very good this year on the saltwater. Striper fishing was awesome with the help of Capt Henry Porter. We got our first Mako shark and had another banner year for blue sharks.
I would like to thank all of our annual fishing friends that keep us in business. So many of you come back year after year and make this the best job in the world! I look forward to our time on the water each season and can't wait to see you all again next year. We had many new faces on the Infinity this year and we hope to see all of you again soon.
I hope you all have a great winter and I look forward to wetting a line with you all in 2020!
Tight lines Ya'll
Capt Scott
