Fall Horse Camp Dates!!

We will be doing two fall horse camps during this upcoming school break:
- September 28th to October 1st
- October 5th to October 8th

Both camps will be from 9am to 2pm for ages 8 to 15. The kids will learn everything from the ground up with our been there, done that lesson horses (ex: catching, grooming, tacking, riding, etc...).

While this will be an amazingly fun experience, it will also be another learning opportunity! Throughout the week, we will learn horse and tack anatomy, basic vet and horse care on top of riding and fun crafts. They will be challenged to try new things and apply skills or learn new ones, while also making life long friends!

Friendly reminder about the heat index!

It's not only dangerous for us to ride in high heat/humidity, but for the horses as well. To protect both ourselves and our loved equine friends, lessons will not be held in any index higher than 145/150, especially when most of that is humidity.
If you have any questions or concerns, please don't hesitate to ask!

Day 2: We did some trotting, Charlie decided he really loved fan misters and we played everyone's favorite sponge game!!

Last day of camp!
We had a blast the last day of camp playing with the ponies in the sprinklers and puddles. The kids got to take home their tie dyed t-shirts, horse hair keychains and we finished the day with ice cream sandwiches! Loa was also very convinced that the blow up pool was brought just for her 😆

Summer Camp Day 4!

Everyone got the chance to try their hand at liberty work with Siccora, and they all did amazing!!! Siccora is such a sensitive pony and it was so cool watching the kids figure out how their energy affects animals. Thanks to an amazing parent, we were able to set up a blow up pool on the grass that the campers had a blast in! Then we ended the day with tie dyeing, which Rooster (of course) had to help with.

Summer Camp day 3!

We played horse ball the first half of the day, and on top of it being a lot of fun, it also teaches communication between rider and horse as well as teammates! The kids then got to play water balloon corn hole and we ended the day celebrating Aiden's birthday!!

Summer Camp Day 2

The kids got to design their own obstacle course for the horses before they raced across the arena trying to fill the small buckets with a sponge. Anything to stay cool in this heat 😆
