MOTIVATION MONDAY
Meet Kayla!!
Kayla signed up for PowerHouse Fitness AZ in August 2024 and signed up for her first fitness challenge in September 2024. She joined the gym for her mental health as she was struggling to take care of herself physically and mentally while juggling being a wife and a mom of 3 kids.
During the challenge, Kayla also joined our PowerFIT program (semi-private group training) and it was life changing. Before PowerFIT, she said her motivation was inconsistent, and she felt ashamed of herself. After joining PowerFIT, she felt supported and motivated by everyone in the sessions. She said she never felt judged for her weight or her physical inability to do some of the exercises.
In Kayla’s words: “I have tried every diet and at home workout routine imaginable. Nothing compares to the amount of support and accountability I have with PowerFIT. PowerFIT feels like family! Everyone is on a different level, but we are always cheering each other on and pushing each other to be our best.”
Kayla finds support from Nikki through the thorough explanations of the workouts to the constant cheering Nikki gives all her clients.
Being a member of PowerFIT has made Kayla a better mom and wife as she can now play with her kids and has the energy to take care of her home. Her mood is much better, and she can walk up the stairs without running out of breath. Her constant body aches are gone, and she looks forward to coming to the gym every day.
Kayla says it best….”I have gained so much confidence since joining PowerFIT! I still have a long way to go but I am amazed at how far I have come. I now know that my body can do hard things, and I feel so much stronger.” Kayla’s tips to anyone else….” Stick with it! In the beginning, it was so hard to stay motivated and make myself get out of bed and go to the gym in the mornings, sometimes I even dreaded it. Now I look forward to it every day!”
