Hope everyone is doing well and staying covid free. Random thought o' the weekend, any interest in a virtual Zumba class online? Haven't really thought about it, but then I thought, why not? It wouldn't be Step, unless y'all have steps at your houses, so it would be regular Zumba, but if there is interest, let me know and I'll look into maybe setting something up. Thanks! 🥰

After taking the holiday hiatus to give it much thought, have finally come to the decision to stop teaching the Thursday night class at the community center, effective immediately. Many MANY thanks to my regulars 🥰 who kept coming back, through time changes and format changes over the last two years, and to all the newbies who came and gave it a go at least once. AND to the Community Center for letting me teach there for the last two years. This was my first official teaching position, and it was great fun! Keep Calm and Zumba On! 💃🕺✌ :)

Taking a poll, y'all. It looks like we're going to be down two people already for tomorrow night. I know everyone is busy getting ready for the holidays, and I'm pretty sure I might have just stopped the classes last year around this time to give people time to get their holidays in order. Any thoughts on whether to continue class the next two weeks? Anyone else already know they can't make it tomorrow?

Forget about Winter is Coming, Winter is HERE! 🥶 (Our two days of fall were nice while we had them weren't they?) But class is on for tonight, come in and join me for some Zumba Step, and after the hour is done, you won't be cold anymore! 💦💦💦 See you then!

Hated to cancel class last week for something that turned out to be a rather non-weather event, but you never know. But class IS go for tonight, get them in while you can in November since as usual, no class on Thanksgiving. But that gives us a good three classes in a row to work off the turkey, stuffing, and pie in advance! :) 🦃🍗🥧 See you tonight!

Between it being Halloween, and the fact that some really wild and wooly weather is getting here earlier than expected and heading our way during our hour tonight, opting to cancel class for the evening. Sorry about that, y'all. I'll see you next week.

You guessed it! No class again on Thursday. Thought it was on the mend, but apparently the "mend" was just the ibuprofen working. I stopped taking it for two days, and you guessed it, it seems to be sneaking back again. :-/ The doctor thinks it's "insert some obscure medical term here" bursitis, and prescribed some PT and a heavy duty anti-inflammatory. The good news is he did say that if Step doesn't bother irritate things further, that I shouldn't have to cancel the class again NEXT week. And even better news for you guys, he highly recommends excessive squats when I do. *applause applause applause!* 😁🥳 So take one more week off, stay home and watch James win his second million dollars on Jeopardy, and I'll hopefully see you next week!

It's official, we are being pre-empted Thursday so that the community center can get set up for their Haunted House taking place Friday and Saturday. I'd love to go check it out myself, but... well, no I won't, I hate haunted houses, they scare the crap out of me 😱 so I'll be keeping far far away from it this week. But class will be back in session Halloween night and will hopefully be less scary than the Haunted House this week. 🎃😁
