Jill is currently a Family Consumer Science Teacher and Varsity Tennis Coach at Grayslake North High School. Growing up she was a lifeguard and swim instructor at the Cary Pool, Trout Valley Pool, Oakwood Hills Beach, Barrington Hills Country Club, Health Bridge Fitness Center and YMCA of McHenry County. After serving in those roles, she became a Lifeguard Instructor and Water Safety Instructor where she trained future lifeguards and swim instructors. These certifications helped her become the swim lesson coordinator and assistant aquatic director at the YMCA where she worked for 5 ½ years. During her time at the YMCA she also was a Piranha Swim Coach for swimmers who were age 12 and under for 2 years. After that she moved on to Stingray Bay Aquatic Center where she served as the Aquatics Manager for 5 years overseeing the facility, 70+ employees and coordinating swim lessons before moving into her teaching career. Jill loves the outdoors, has a 3 and 4 year old of her own and loves working with children in all sorts of capacities. If you have any questions or concerns please feel free to ask.
