Autumn 🍂 studio Smudging.
Today we have been Filling our space with joy, comfort, warmth, serenity, gratefulness, and protection with this lovely smudge wand mixing of wildflowers, sage, cinnamon, rosemary, orange, and star anise.

What is smudging and why do it? It is the act of burning certain herbs in meditations and rituals of energy modification. This ritual is performed when a person believes in and has a desire to shift energy around them, Cleansing our space and filling it with joy, serenity and protection.

We love these forms of meditation and rituals creating a welcoming environment for all our lovely clients ❤️🧘🏻‍♀️🙏

Yin yoga targets your deep connective tissues, like your fascia, ligaments, joints, and bones. It's slower and more meditative, giving you space to turn inward and tune into both your mind and the physical sensations of your body.

Different Yin yoga poses stimulate and remove blockages in the myofascial meridians in the body, which in turn balances the body’s internal organs and systems.

As for the mind, Yin yoga gives you the time and space to allow emotions, thoughts and feelings you have kept in the shadows, to surface.

Generally speaking, during a Yin yoga class, you will be encouraged to allow all those feelings to be there, but not to identify with them. To observe but not get caught up in them. It costs the body a lot of energy to keep things suppressed, so the release you feel from letting it all come out, acknowledge and let go can be big.

Try a yin yoga class and tap in to the subtle hidden challenge of the yin concept.
