Carthage Golf Course The Carthage Golf Course is a 9 hole public course located in Carthage, Illinois. Keep in touch with this page for results, events, and updates.

The 9-hole Carthage Golf Course is located just down the scenic lake road from the Jaycee Park. This par 35 course features a variety of holes measuring 2800 yards. The holes run the gamut from the 120 yard Hole 2 over water, to the 520 yard Hole 5 straight-away, to the doglegs of holes 4 and 8. It's a wonderful course and is in the best shape in years.


2022 Memberships

The Carthage Golf Club Board has established the following dues schedule for the 2022 season:

$420 Cart Privilege
$510 Single Membership
$640 Family Membership
$240 College Student
$170 Junior Membership

* $10 can be taken off each due if paid by 4/01/22. 2/01/22 for cart privilege.

* New members are offered a $100 discount on memberships and a $50 dollar discount on cart privilege. (New member is defined as someone who has not joined in the past 3 years.) Make checks payable to Carthage Golf Club and mail to:

This year’s golf season has come to an end. Today is our last day to be open in the clubhouse. You may walk our course to Golf. On T #1 there’s a mailbox for fees. Winter rate is 9 holes for $5.00. There are no carts available for rent. 

The campground will officially close on November 15, 2026. Reservations can be made by calling Jeremy Housewright at 309–224–1391. The answering machine at the clubhouse will be checked periodically. Just leave us a message regarding clubhouse rental or gift certificates.

We look forward to seeing you next spring. Weather permitting opening day will be April 1, 2027.
