We're excited to announce the installation of a new TRACK Trail on the Turkey Creek Nature Trail at Cordell Hull Lake!

Designed especially for children and families, TRACK Trails feature self-guided activities that encourage kids to explore nature, stay active, and learn about the outdoors while enjoying the trail.

The TRACK Trail kiosk was installed through a U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Handshake Grant, with materials provided by Kids in Parks. We appreciate their partnership in helping connect the next generation to nature.

Because squirrels cannot sweat like humans, they rely on other ways to cool down. During hot weather, they press their bellies and limbs against cooler surfaces such as wood, concrete, rocks, or shaded ground to release body heat and help regulate their internal temperature. 🧭 Salt Lick Campground
