This weekend was another reminder that success in wrestling isn’t just about medals—it’s about the countless hours of hard work, discipline, and determination that happen long before stepping on the mat.

Our wrestlers competed at two of the toughest events of the weekend, Cowboy Rumble and Firebird Inferno, taking on some of the best athletes from across the country.

🥇 Landon Wilbur – Champion
🥇 Asher Wilbur – Champion
🥉 Addie Wilbur – 3rd Place
🥉 Braydon Lopez – 3rd Place

Landon, Asher, Braydon, and Billie Scott also competed on multiple dual teams throughout the weekend, battling high-level wrestlers from all over the country. Every match was an opportunity to grow, compete, and represent our program with grit.

🥉 Oakley Reed – 3rd Place
🥉 Moxx Lopez – 3rd Place

Emerson and Oakley also stepped up for multiple dual teams, facing talented opponents from across the nation and proving they belong among the best.

A special shoutout to Blakely Reed, who competed in the 16U Freestyle Girls Duals. Her team fought their way into the Gold Bracket and finished an impressive 4th overall against elite competition.

Weekends like this require more than talent. They require early mornings, long drives, countless practices, sacrifices from families, and the willingness to compete against the best, knowing every match is earned. These athletes continue to chase challenges instead of comfort, and that’s what builds champions.

We’re incredibly proud of every wrestler who stepped on the mat this weekend. The results are something to celebrate, but the dedication, heart, and relentless work ethic behind them are what make this group truly special.

The work never stops—and neither do they. 💪🤼

Going from locals to the National level is no joke. Boone had his first National Dual experience. He bumped up a weight class and battled hard in pool and bracket matches coming up short but delivering solid wrestling and showing so much growth. Losing by points in two close matches and continued to push ending the tournament with a W. 💪🏼
