ISR of the Pines is more than just swim instruction, it is a community of like-minded families in Moore County. We can lean on each other long after lessons are over.

Today, I was devastated to learn that one of our swim families suffered a tragedy. This swim family lost their husband and father of 5. I grew to know Jake while teaching 4 of his children. He was a standup guy and incredibly devoted to his family.

Please lift The Foils up in prayer and consider donating if you are able. Their ISR community is here for them and extends our heartfelt condolences to his family & friends.🩵

Sometimes the most productive thing you can do is… take a break!

Hanging up my rash guards until 2025! THANK YOU for trusting me with your babies (and big kids) in the water this year. I am so grateful! I love what I do and I love where I do it!

I’ll be back in the pool on January 6th, ready to meet my new swimmers and families! Maintenance lessons will also resume in January.🐠🥰

Zero entry pools and sun-shelves are dangerous for small toddlers. They can walk around but if they fall down face first, they can’t pull their little bodies to stand up. They don’t instinctively know how to turn into a float for air. Babies and young children can drown in as little as 2 inches of water.

Rolling into a float is a skill we teach them during ISR lessons. It’s a potentially life saving skill. The sooner, the safer.
