There’s nothing quite like your very first pony! We are so excited to have helped find the newest (and cutest!) addition to the Achnacarry family for one of our youngest riders.

At just six years old, this little horse girl is at the very beginning of a partnership we can’t wait to watch grow. Here’s to first ponies, big dreams, and a whole lot of adventures ahead. 🥹✨

No school on Monday, September 7th means a full day at the barn!
Our first One-Day Horse Camp of the school year is just two weeks away, and registration is underway!

Our School’s Out Camps are open to ages 4+ and are a great opportunity for both current riders and horse-loving kids who are brand new to the barn.

Planning ahead? Don't wait too long!
Our October 12th and November 11th camps are already HALF FULL!

Space is limited to 12 campers per date, and our one-day camps regularly fill.

No school? Come spend the day at the barn! Our School’s Out Camps give kids a full day of horses, riding, hands-on horsemanship, barn activities, games, and plenty of time with their favorite four-legged friends.

Advance Camp Week 2 was a huge success! Our week may have ended with a rainy day but it was a blast! We had a couple riders bring their own horses to camp which was an absolute blast. The girls started off their week with yoga with Michelle McAdam, learned body work from Wendy Alice, worked on braiding techniques with Macie, learned about chiro and acupuncture from Dr Bri, and worked hard in the saddle to build confidence and connection with their partners.

Thanks to Trisha’s Ice cream Truck for coming by during our last day of camp this week! So thrilled to have a real deal ice cream truck around our wonderful town. Can’t wait to see her again! If you’re local to Moore County check her out and keep an eye on her page for where she’ll be next 🍦

Our Advance Camp Week 1 was a success! Our riders got to learn yoga from Michelle McAdam, Equine Bodywork from Wendy Alice, enjoyed an inside afternoon to escape the heat with a viewing of the documentary “Buck”, and of course finished the week with a fun off property schooling and ice cream. It was exciting to see the riders building off each previous lesson and becoming more confident as the week progressed.
