A quick update on our recent graduate Cohen Jackson. Cohen signed early with Cleveland City University in Indiana. A couple of months ago the college closed. This left committed athletes scrambling for their future. We are so happy to announce that Cohen has signed to continue his golf and academics at Kentucky Wesleyan in Owensboro, Kentucky. Sometimes when one door shuts another (better) one opens! Congratulations Cohen and best of luck!

This week Daymian Rij represented JALC in the NJCAA Men's Golf Nationals in Newton, KS. Coach Mooneyham accompanied Daymian for the week long event. The tournament kicked off with a practice round and BarBQ on Sunday and practice round and banquet on Monday. Twenty teams and 118 golfers participated in the 4 days of competition. Only 5 golfers qualified as individuals and were not part of a team. Daymian was one of the 5, which is a huge accomplishment. Daymian came away finishing 46th out of the 118. We are proud of Daymian and his hard work and dedication while a Volunteer. We wish him the best of luck in his next chapter, where he has committed to Newberry College a Division 1 school in Newberry, South Carolina.
