How it started versus how it’s going 🔥

I need to take an updated picture of our current class with all the new faces that have joined along the way.

Looking back at old pictures compared to where we are today is always special. It’s a reminder of where we started, how far we’ve come, and the growth we’ve experienced over the years. Every player, family, and season has been part of the journey, and I’m grateful for all of it.

This summer, Precise Soccer Academy is opening its doors to new families, and we need your help to make it possible.

Our goal has always been bigger than soccer. We’re helping develop confident, resilient, and responsible young people who make an impact both on and off the field. To do that, we want to keep this experience affordable and accessible for every family that wants to be part of it.

The funds raised will help cover registration fees, uniforms, equipment, and the continued growth of our club. Every dollar, no matter the amount, helps give more kids in our community the opportunity to play, grow, and be part of something meaningful.

If you’re not able to donate, sharing this post goes a long way and means just as much to us. Together, we can build something special for the next generation.

🚨 TRYOUT UPDATE 🚨

U12 tryouts will continue as scheduled TODAY from 6:00 PM to 7:15 PM.

U10 tryouts have been moved to Thursday, June 4 at 6:00 PM.

U14 tryouts have been moved to Monday, June 8 at 6:00 PM. We are also opening this age group to girls.

We still have a few spots available across our age groups.

If you plan on attending, please complete the registration form. Even if we’ve already spoken, everyone must register so I can keep all information in one place.

Summer break is a great time for kids to relax, have fun, and enjoy being kids.

But it’s also the time when a lot of players either move forward or fall behind.

The players who come back sharper in the fall usually aren’t the most talented. They’re the ones who stayed consistent when nobody was making them train.

A few extra sessions this summer can make a huge difference in confidence, technique, and overall development.

As parents, if you see that drive in your son or daughter, now is the perfect time to invest in it. The work they put in today will show when the season starts back up.

Tryouts are almost here and we still have a few spots left. 📖

We put the focus on growth over numbers. This summer includes 8 to 10 practices followed by 3 to 4 friendly competitive games. Structured, intentional, and built around team development. This is your opportunity to try something different done the right way.

If you want to be part of something purposeful and development focused, this is your chance.

Tryouts take place on 6/2. Practice and game dates are included in the form. Games will be played on Sundays and during the week.

⚠️ If you are planning to be there, you MUST sign up through the form provided. I've spoken with several of you personally about joining, but I need everyone registered through the form to keep all information in one place. If you don't register, I may miss your information.

Tristen started working with me at 5 years old.

Now he plays for the Chattanooga Red Wolves SC and trains with Rio 40.

The difference between then and now?

He never got bored of the extra touches.

Most kids want the result.

Tristen wanted the reps.

That's what separates players.

Not talent. Not age. Not the team you play for.

It's the ones who keep showing up when nobody's watching.

Most young players think a good pass starts with the foot.

It doesn't.

It starts with the whole body.

Positioning foot, hips, shoulders.

All pointing the same direction.

When that's off, the ball goes where your body takes it. Not where you want it.

You might get a few clean passes with bad technique.

Maybe even score.

But your body is building a habit every single rep.

And habits are hard to break.

Elite players don't just have skill. They have consistency.

Consistency comes from technique. Not talent.

Studies show it takes 300 to 500 reps to build a new movement pattern.

And up to 5,000 reps to break a bad one.

So the longer improper technique goes uncorrected, the harder it is to fix.

That's not a passing problem. That's a fundamentals problem.
