Pawar: Param Veers main ground ready in May

Excitement is brewing in Atlanta as the main stadium being built at the Param Veers Cricket Field will be ready for action come early May.
This is the information coming from Param Veers executive Pramod Pawar. Pawar told the press that work will be competed on the main field in time for a May start. “The main field has been nearing completion and the pitch is ready, so come May we will have the main ground ready for cricket.
The Param, Veers Group led by Jayesh Patel has spent a lot of money in building the cricket complex and when totally completed it will house seven cricket grounds. It was the dream of Jayesh to build an international private stadium for use by the national USA team as well as domestic teams around the country.
The main stadium will include a world class players pavilion, plus state of the art media facilities. Speaking about the latest on this front Pawar said: “It’s work in progress and is not completed just yet. We have done the research and we know what is required and we are taking it on, one at the time to ensure we do it perfectly.”
Pramod added: “It is our hope to get international cricket at this ground and as a result we are constructing this up to that standard. I think that around December of this year we should have the pavilion and media facilities in place.
“With the World Cup being jointly hosted by West Indies and USA in 2024, we are targeting to be ready to be considered for games, be it the main draw or the warm-up games. We think we have what is needed to host matches here.”
Param Veers will be hoping that the International Cricket Council (ICC) assesses their ground in order to bring this into reality.

Big year ahead for Param Veers

Work continues apace at the Param Veers cricket field in Atlanta and word coming to hand is that the ground will be ready for action this year.
The project in Cartersville, GA, started because of the vision of Jayesh Patel, his wife Seema and his son Param. The Patel family has invested a lot into the development of cricket in Atlanta and will be looking forward to launching their special project this year which will be the international standard cricket field in Cartersville.

Work has been ongoing for quite a while and the main field is taking shape. Around this main field there will be four other cricket fields which will cater to local teams and also the Atlanta Param Veers Cricket Academy.

According to Patel: “We will be bringing on stream our major cricket stadium which we are hoping will attract international matches. It is our hope that we will be involved somehow at the 2023 World Cup which will be hosted by Cricket West Indies and USA Cricket. We have invested into this facility because we think it will bring great value to the people of Atlanta by having international cricket played here.”

The ground will be appointed with all the ingredients needed for an international venue. Patel and his main men Pramod Pawar and Suren Gandavaram have been traveling around looking at international venues and looking for the best ideas to make the Param Veers Cricket Stadium the best in America.

Jayesh Patel bringing great hope

Cricket promoter and administrator Jayesh Patel has come in for great praise for the work that he is doing to help cricket not only in America but in India as well.
Close associate Pramod Pawar speaking to Param Veers Media said he was happy to be associated with Patel. “Jayesh is a unique person and has done so much for cricket. When he was running cricket in Atlanta he took the game forward. His tireless effort gave cricket an imprint in this region and today we are seeing the results of it.”
Patel was chairman of the Atlanta Cricket Association for many years and after making the game a household name in the region, decided to go on his own and start construction of his cricket stadium.
Pramod continued: “This undertaking of constructing this major cricket stadium is a huge task but it is something that I think Jayesh is ready for. We are right behind him supporting him all the way.” The Param Veers cricket fields is a massive project with a main cricket ground and five other fields as well. The main cricket field is nearing completion and this already attracting attention. The main aim for completing this field is to acquire international matches.
Pawar closed off by saying that Patel has major plans and all will be rolled out soon. “Jayesh has major plans for this field and cricket fans in Atlanta and all of the USA will be in for a cricket treat.”
