The Misfits started the day with a perfect 3 innings. Gave up some runs and went in to the last inning tied. Scored a run to go ahead, but then gave up 2 to take a HEARTBREAKING loss in Game 1. Played immediately after, but didn't get their heads back in the game. 0-2 on the day brings our season to an end. Extremely proud of them. They came in to state in the 14th seed of the Elite bracket and then placed in the top 8 in pool play to make the Gold Bracket. Not the season ending we wanted, but definitely nothing to be ashamed of.
