Eddie Miller and Amy Wolf have started an online store based in Carson City, Nevada that will specialize in custom made Recovery and Nevada apparel and accessories. You can have us create something special for events, business or personal use! We can make one or a thousand… no order to big or to small. We will be adding items to the website daily, shipping and local pickup available.

TODAY IS THE DAY… Miller Counseling’s first annual Grief Sucks Event at Washoe State Park from 3-10 pm! This event is open to the community and is FREE. Just mention at the gate you are part of the grief event and we will pay your entrance fee into the park 🩷 There will be food, grief groups, reiki, sound baths, kids activities, s’mores, tie dye, and other fun activities! Please feel free to bring the entire family for a day of healing! Special shout out to our amazing volunteers who are making this happen!

Northern Nevada is our home, and when our community is hurting, we believe in coming together and doing everything we can to help. ❤️

Ashes to Armor Apparel, owned by Amy Wolf, who was born and raised in Carson City, and Eddie Miller, a longtime Northern Nevada resident and owner of Miller Counseling, are joining together to raise money for those impacted by the devastating wildfires that have affected our community over the past month.

We are selling specially designed Northern Nevada Wildfire Relief T-shirts, hats, and hoodies, with 50% of every dollar from these merchandise sales going directly to the Northern Nevada Wildfire Relief Fund. ❤️‍🔥

Amy and Eddie have both raised their families here in Northern Nevada. Their hearts go out to the families who have been displaced, businesses that have suffered losses, first responders who have worked tirelessly to protect our communities, and everyone whose lives have been affected by these devastating fires.

🔥Miller Counseling's First Annual Grief Sucks Burn

Grief can feel overwhelming, but you don't have to carry it alone. Join Miller Counseling and our amazing group of volunteers for our First Annual Grief Sucks Burn at Washoe State Park for an evening of healing, remembrance, connection, and hope.

This family-friendly event includes activities for all ages throughout the day. Kids can enjoy sack races at 3:30 PM, tie-dye at 5:00 PM, story time at 6:30 PM, and S'more Grief at 8:00 PM. Adults are invited to participate in an Opening Ceremony and Reiki Cleansing at 4:00 PM, a Grief Support Group at 5:30 PM, a Sound Bath at 7:00 PM, and our Grief Burn at 8:30 PM.

Whether you're grieving the loss of a loved one or supporting someone who is, this event offers a safe space to honor your journey while connecting with others who understand.

Saturday June 13, 2026 is Nevada Free Fishing and Adventure Day! No fishing license needed for children and adults on all Nevada waters and free entrance into State parks. Grab your poles and go take your family fishing! Sparks Marina and Idlewild Park have special events that day! Check it out!!!

FREE SMART Recovery is now available at Miller Wellness Center. SMART Recovery | Free Support Group (Carson City)

Join us every Tuesday at 7:00 PM and every Thursday at 12:00 PM for a science-based support group focused on practical tools, real solutions, and lasting change.

We’re excited to introduce your facilitator, JD Powers

JD is a Peer Support Specialist, Peer Support Specialist Supervisor, Community Health Worker II, and Certified Prevention Specialist with more than eight years of experience supporting individuals on their recovery journey.

What makes JD unique is her ability to combine professional training with lived experience. She believes recovery is about more than substance use it’s about returning to health, wellness, and becoming the person you want to be.

SMART Recovery offers a different approach. Instead of focusing on labels or repeatedly revisiting the problem, participants learn practical tools for managing urges, changing thought patterns, solving problems, and building a life they don’t want to escape from.

Whether you’re struggling with alcohol, drugs, gambling, unhealthy habits, or simply looking for a healthier way forward, SMART Recovery provides a welcoming, judgment-free environment where growth is possible.

The office is located on the second floor and shares the space with massage therapists, estheticians, social media experts, a photographer, podcaster and Miller Counseling. There is a community bathroom and kitchen! You will have access to the building and your private office 24/7. Suite H is currently empty and waiting for you to join our collaborative where you can create a space that expresses your businesses unique personality. The rent is $550 a month and includes all utilities and internet! There is no elevator in the building!
