Falcon Camp Celebrating outdoor fun since 1959, Falcon Camp is designed for boys and girls ages 6-16 to develop life skills, meet new friends and have a great time.

Just as you start to wonder if you've left civilization behind forever, you drive around a bend and are welcomed to Falcon by smiling faces wearing red staff shi

rts. Perhaps you'll start to realize it when you park by the dining hall, to be welcomed by the directors this time. You see other camp families around you and your first thought is that they must all be neighbors at home because everyone seems so relaxed and glad to see each other. As you stand in the infirmary check in line and are introduced to the others arriving around you, you realize they don't all live on the same street at home but come from everywhere: different cities, different states, even different countries. One thing that is easy to see is how glad everyone seems to be that they are at Falcon. Perhaps you'll realize it when you drive to the cabin to unload and meet the counselors and the campers who already arrived. You'll see how everyone wants to welcome you, help you unload the car and offer to take you on a tour of camp. You will feel the genuine warmth in the words "welcome to Falcon". After getting settled in the cabin and taking a walk around camp, it is time for parents to leave. Both parents and campers will be reminded that we don't really start having fun until after all the parents have gone home. Then starts the special journey of becoming a Falcon camper. Falcon is special and Falcon is different from anywhere else you've been. Whenever or however you first start to get that feeling of something special happening, you will soon start to understand what we mean. At Falcon Camp, we take normal herd maintenance and turn it into a day full of education, curiosity, and fun!

Today, our awesome farrier, Byron, gave our four-legged friends their regular "pedicures." Keeping our horses healthy, balanced, and comfortable is a top priority, and the campers love getting an up-close look at the process.

Byron had a great audience today! Our Cardinals and Hawks watched him work, learned about horse anatomy, and saw what it takes to shape a horseshoe. Byron is fantastic at explaining the craft, and judging by how closely everyone was watching, we might just have a future farrier or two in this group!

Our Riding program is all about building a deep bond with the horses, and that includes understanding the specialized care they receive behind the scenes. Big thanks to Byron for keeping our herd in tip-top shape for all our trail rides and lessons! ❤️

Yesterday’s orientation day was an absolute ace, and we couldn't have asked for a better start to the season.

It was wonderful seeing everyone back at camp, getting settled into their units, and meeting new friends. Whether you're a baseline pro or picking up a racket for the first time this summer, the energy during orientation proved that this year’s "match" is going to be one for the record books!

A summer storm rolled through the area last night, but it takes a lot more than a thunderstorm to dampen Opening Night!

We moved our traditional opening campfire inside the cozy walls of the Lodge, and honestly, the energy was absolutely electric. Looking out at a sea of bright, colorful unit shirts, the roof was practically shaking when Josh and the gang broke out the guitars for a camp-wide rendition of "Sweet Caroline"!

There is nothing quite like the crisp thwack of an arrow hitting the target at Archery, and we cannot wait to hear that sound ring through the woods all summer long. Whether you are aiming to hit your very first bulls-eye, working on your Intermediate award or just excited to try something brand-new with your cabin mates, the range is ready for you!

That’s a wrap on Staff Week 2026! Our incredible crew has spent the last week training, prepping, laughing, and putting the finishing touches on every single corner of camp. We’ve seen some incredible teamwork at the Waterfront over the years, but our staff just took things to a whole new level with our brand-new, massive Stand-Up Paddleboard (SUP)!

If this doesn't look like a modern remake of George Washington crossing the Delaware, we don't know what does. 😅 Leading the charge right at the front is Margaret, looking incredibly stoic and resolute, while the rest of the crew is ready to put their backs into paddling them straight across the lake.

Don't worry, safety always comes first at Falcon—Harrison is on high alert, lifeguarding from the sidelines to make sure this epic maiden voyage goes off without a hitch.

The Countdown is Over: Opening Day is This Sunday!

The cabins are swept, the staff is ready, and the lake is waiting—we are officially kicking off the summer this Sunday, and we cannot wait to welcome our Falcon families to camp!

As you do your final packing checks and load up the car, here are a few important opening day reminders to ensure a smooth, happy check-in for everyone:
📥 Check Your Email: Please review your inbox for your family's specific arrival and drop-off times. Staggering our arrivals helps keep lines moving and ensures your camper gets a personalized welcome!
🧴 Don't Forget the Essentials: Make sure things like a refillable water bottle, sunscreen, and bug spray are packed and labeled with your camper's name!
🌳 Drive Slowly: As you turn onto the camp road, please take it nice and slow. Let's keep our campers, families, staff, and local wildlife safe as everyone arrives!
🎒 Baggage Check: Double-check that all belongings are labeled! Don't forget the luggage tags that you received in the mail!
