Some of these kids are still training. Some have moved on. But every one of them spent time learning how to work, listen, compete, and push through something hard.

Thatā€™s what I love about coaching kids.

You may start because you want them to learn boxing.

A few years ago, we loaded up and went to compete.

Some of these kids are still with us. Some have moved on. But every one of them was part of the journey and helped build what Hicks MMA is today.

Competition isn't always about the medal. It's about having the courage to step out there, test what you've learned, find out where you need to improve, and come back to the mat better.
