* At 603 PM EDT, a severe thunderstorm was located 20 miles northeast of Strasburg, or 23 miles north of Dover, moving east southeast at 35 mph.
HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Expect damage to roofs, siding, and trees.
* Locations impacted include...
Salem, Lisbon, Augusta, Malvern, Hanoverton, East Rochester, North
Georgetown, New Garden, Homeworth, Winona and Guilford Lake State

A line of storms, is forecast to cross over portions of eastern Ohio and northwestern Pennsylvania over the coming hours, some of which may carry some gusty winds. Here's an updated "best guess" time of arrival based on current observations. A severe thunderstorm watch remains in effect for areas north of Pittsburgh.

A warm and humid Wednesday is on tap. Outside of a stay shower, most of the daylight hours are rain free. Showers and thunderstorms will increase this evening as a cold front drops in from the north. A few storms could become strong to severe, especially north of US 22. Storms should weaken as they progress southward tonight, but lightning, gusty winds, and localized heavy rain will still be possible. Occasional showers will be around on Thursday as the cold front slowly pushes through the region. High pressure returns Friday, bringing a brief return to drier, less humid conditions. Humidity increases over the weekend as several disturbances lead to scattered showers. Above normal temperatures for September likely continue through much of next week.

Here's the latest on the timing of a line of thunderstorms tonight. Much of our area will be impacted by around midnight, with the line slowing as storm lose strength. Damaging wind gusts and potential isolated flooding are the main concerns, but a tornado cannot be ruled out. Keep an eye out for updates, and ensure you have multiple ways to receive any watches or warnings!
