I have been testing Sierra Bullets 25cal 135g tipped MatchKings with VV N555 powder in my 25 Creedmoor rifle, featuring a 24-inch 7 twist Bartlein barrel, Zermatt Origin action, AG Composites Visigoth stock, and Peterson brass cartridges. After working up a load with VV N555, I reached a velocity of 2800 fps and achieved a satisfactory zero. Although range time was limited, the results are compelling, with effective hits on steel at 1000 yards using a G7 BC of 0.318. Additional load refinement is planned. The first Vaportrail Valley long range F-Class match of 2026 is in the books.

It was a long weekend fighting the wind but I was able to pull off a 3rd place that was a 3 way tie decided by X count. I ended with a 967-35X.

Thanks to Tom and Sara for the hospitality and letting us use their first class range.

Thanks to Tommy and Jeremy for helping me out with everything. Especially while it was my turn to shoot.
