Here are ten key lessons from "Finish What You Start" by Peter Hollins:

1. Setting Clear Goals: Clearly define your goals and intentions. Knowing what you want to achieve is the first step toward finishing what you start.

2. Breaking Goals into Smaller Steps: Divide your goals into smaller, manageable tasks. This makes them less overwhelming and easier to tackle.

3. Overcoming Procrastination: Understand the root causes of procrastination and learn techniques to overcome it, allowing you to take action more consistently.

4. Establishing a Routine: Creating a structured daily routine can help you build discipline and make it easier to work on your goals regularly.

5. Maintaining Focus: Learn techniques for improving your concentration and staying focused on tasks, minimizing distractions that can derail your progress.

6. Handling Setbacks: Accept that setbacks and failures are a natural part of the process. Learn to adapt and persevere when things don't go as planned.

7. Time Management: Effective time management is crucial for following through on your commitments. Learn how to allocate your time efficiently.

8. Building Self-Discipline: Cultivate self-discipline as a skill, enabling you to stay committed to your goals, even when motivation wanes.

9. Accountability and Tracking Progress: Establish accountability mechanisms and track your progress to stay motivated and committed to your goals.

10. Celebrate Small Wins: Acknowledge and celebrate your achievements, no matter how minor. This positive reinforcement can help maintain your motivation.

These lessons from "Finish What You Start" emphasize the importance of setting clear goals, managing your time effectively, and cultivating self-discipline to achieve what you set out to do. The book provides practical strategies for taking consistent action and following through on your commitments.

The word Toltec, as you’ve probably learned by now, means artist. The ancient Toltecs were artisans in the practical sense, but the word also had philosophical implications. It still does. A good Toltec strives to be the artist of his own dream and his own destiny. But what actually defines an artist– any kind of artist? Well, here are a few tips:
👁️ An artist has an eye for beauty.
🌻 An artist looks for wonder everywhere– in the physical world and the virtual world.
🦅 An artist has vision– the ability to see what isn’t readily seen by others.
🖋️ An artist is able to express that vision and share it with the rest of humanity.
❤️‍🔥 An artist is willing to surrender to life’s creative force…to be thoughtless, and in love.

⚡️ In the Toltec tradition, words are considered to be sacred and powerful. They have the ability to create and destroy, to heal, and to harm. Therefore, being impeccable with your word means using your words to create positive outcomes and to align with truth and love.

💬 To be impeccable with your word, you must first speak with integrity. This means being honest and authentic in your communication, and not saying anything that you do not mean. You should also avoid using your words to spread negativity or harm others. Instead, use your words to uplift and inspire, reinforce positive beliefs and attitudes, and create harmony and understanding.

💡Being impeccable with your word requires that you speak with a clear and honest intention. Your words should reflect your true intentions, and you should not use your words to manipulate or deceive others. When you speak with a clear and honest intention, you create a positive energy that can uplift and inspire others.

🤝 In the Toltec tradition, being impeccable with your word is seen as a sacred agreement that you make with yourself and with the universe. It is a commitment to using your words to create positive change in your life and in the world around you.

❤️ When you are impeccable with your word, you align yourself with truth and love, and you become a powerful force for good in the world.
