fter storming through the 2007 NCAA Division II Men’s Basketball Southeast Regional, created the identity “Blue Steel.” The Blue Steel persona and identity they adopted as the non-scholarship athletes of the team helped bring energy and team chemistry to balance out the expectations that come with playing at a top tier unversitys such as Carolina and Wingate. As a fellow Chapel Hillian, Bolick and Benjamin Davis grew up in the Chapel Hill/Carrboro School System from elementary to high school and always dreamed of being a part of the North Carolina basketball tradition. Whether it is your dream to become a collage athlete at a top tier program like Carolina or Wingate or to have a fun-filled week of basketball, Blue Steel Basketball Campers will learn lessons passed down from Coach Roy Williams and get an inside perspective on what it really takes to become a Carolina basketball player. The camp coaching staff is comprised of all Chapel Hill natives that went on to collegiate and even professional basketball careers ranging from the Division 1 to Division 3 collegiate level to the top professional league in Israel and the NBA Developmental League. The campers of Blue Steel Basketball Camp will not only receive a first rate basketball education, but also form memories that will last a lifetime. [email protected]
