McDougal Middle School is boys tennis in the Spring and girls in the Fall. I will be coach the boys team from Feb to May. Home matches and practice will be played at Wilson Park in Carrboro.

Tennis Classes in Carrboro. There is space available in 2 Lunchtime tennis classes that start next Tuesday April 11.
11:30 AM Beginner Adults
12:30 AM Intermediate Adults
Cost is $49 for a series of 6 classes, Tuesday and Thursday.
Classes will be cancelled if at least 5 are not registered in each class.
[This is my main reason for posting here; so, the classes will happen.]

i need to write something to keep this active. I'll come with something. Since there has been very little "reach" I don't yet expect anyone will see this. If you do, let me know you are out there. Or in here. I'll post one of my somewhat instructional tennis videos.

Video shows several excerpts of practice sessions during the last 2 years. In the most recent session (first part of video) I had a stiff neck and injured achilles. It is interesting to see how it affects my play. It brings out some of my weaknesses and shows me where I can improve.
Good preparation before shots and recovery after (which are the same) is crucial for consistent improvement. It does take more work and is more physical to move and prepare well between shots.
