NBC World Series Names 2026 All-American Team
Six Foresters players and manager Bill Pintard were named to the NBCWS All-Amerian team after they captured their record-increasing 11th National Championship in August.
Pitcher Noah Waldeck was named the MVP after going 2-0 with a perfect 0.0 ERA and 12 Ks in 11 innings pitched. He was joined on the team by fellow pitcher Tanner Grove (also 2-0) and Jake Fowler, who won a game and like his teammates, did not allow an earned run.
On offense, catcher Zane Becker made the All-American teamafter batting .300 in the tournament with four RBI. Second baseman Chris Newstrom hit .381 and had eight hits in the ’Sters six games. Carter Rutenbar was named as a utility player, seeing time at first and catcher. He hit .333 with six RBI.
For leading his team to yet another title, Bill Pintard was named the 2026 NBCWS Manager of the Year.
